The beautiful island Paros is one of the bigger islands of the Kykladen with approximately 120 km of coast length. It lies approximately on half way of Athens and Santorini; from Piräus, it is approximately five hours with the normal ferry and 2,75 hours with the speedboat.
In the antiquity Paros was famous for its white marble, that is reduced still today. The capital of the island, Parikia, possesses one of the biggest harbors of the Kykladen with the best ship connections to other islands and the biggest Greek harbor Piräus simultaneously.
Tao’s Center is a retreat & meditation center on the Greek Island of Paros.
On top of a hill, over-looking a breath-taking view of the Aegean Sea and the neighboring islands, it is an ecological place, where simple Tao meets the sword of Zen in a Zorba way.
